So far, 2015 has been an astounding year for heavy metal in India in terms of both gigs and records, with giants Carcass, Inquisition, Napalm Death and the likes having graced the peninsula, stellar releases being put up by many Indian bands and a handful of bands rummaging venues throughout Europe. In the wake of all the adrenaline rush, smaller, indie organizers aren’t lacking far behind by fostering many Indian and underground kvlt international acts by putting up pub gigs across the country.

One of these indie organizers, Moonlight Entertainments, a renowned name in the Mumbai-Pune metal circuit, brainchild of Jeff Dani, Naresh Nair & Hebzy Jacob William  have been doing a lot to keep the local scene alive through their venture- Insurgence which first showed up in 2012. Luckily for the Mumbaikars, the gang is back with a fantastic and diverse line-up for the second episode of Insurgence- Insurgence Vol 2.0.

Boasting a lineup of 7 crazy bands, out of which Zygnema recently released their new album; Primitiv will be coming out with their debut later this year and Killibrium plays its debut gig! Merch from Zygnema and Cosmic Infusion will be available at the venue, so don’t forget to carry some extra cash.

Pritesh Prabhune, who has also worked on sound for BIG69, will be behind the sound console for the gig. The event takes place at Marine Center, reputed to be the only venue to entertain Metal and Rock Concert in Whole Navi Mumbai and Thane, with no objections and interference. Navi Mumbai is slated to experience severe neck-aches and bruises on Sunday, the 23rd of August.
