Lucid Recess releases music video for their song ‘Wireless Junkies’
Lucid Recess releases the video for their song ‘Wireless Junkies’ from their upcoming album. The video was entirely done in one long shot. The video is directed by Lucid Recess with Kamki Diengdoh as the director of photography.
‘We released the song ‘Wireless Junkies’ in 2011 as the first single for our third album. We were planning to have the third album out by the following year but for some reason, it got much delayed. We are finally ready with the new album but the significance of this song, for us, is not lost. This song was a turning point for our band and we wanted to make it larger with an amazing music video. We’ve had this idea and wanted to do it for the longest time and with the help of Kamki Diengdoh and his team, who made the video of ‘Time Walk’, we were finally able to make it happen. The entire video was done in one long shot. It proved very difficult to pull this off but the hard work of everyone involved, the three band members and nine crew members, made it possible. We prepared, rehearsed, set everything up and shot the video in a single day. It took almost 18 hours in total and when we got the final perfect take at 2 AM in the morning, we never felt more satisfied. We hope you enjoy the video.’ said the band
Lucid Recess is an Alternative Metal/Progressive Rock band from Guwahati, Assam, India comprising of Amitabh Barooa on Vocals and Bass, Siddharth Barooa on Guitars and Partha Boro on Drums. Their untitled 3rd album will be released this summer.
