Alternative Metal band What Google Can’t Find return with a new lineup and a full length album, single now available to stream!

After a year of silence, the band re-emerges with a new sound, new members and a promising new album. In recent studio updates , the band talks about their new album INTROSPECT / RETROSPECT: concept, writing and influences.
The band discusses their feelings on the track. ” It’s an examination of decisions. The song talks about putting yourself back in the past and asking yourself what you would have done differently. ” “We wanted to do a really fun song that people would look forward to hearing us play live. “

The person alleged of writing most of Kill ’em All is returning to India AGAIN! For like the fourth time? Or fifth? Sorry, I have lost count. As If multiple showdowns of “Summer of ’69” weren’t enough, my countrymen will have multiple showdowns of “Symphony of Destruction“, yaay!

2015 so far has been, in one word, ENORMOUS for the Indian scene. Just recalling the big as well as underground names who have graced our now-infested-holy-land leaves me stupified. Fret not If you missed Alex Webster’s basslines or John McEntee’s doom, you still have ample coming your way.

Almost everyone who has picked up the guitar has atleast once or more times, tried to play Sweet Child O’ Mine. Now GO, see how to actually play it and come home and practice. MTV is bringing down Slash and Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators for their debut gig in Amchi Mumbai on Nov 7 followed by a gig in Bangalore on Nov 14!

All hail NH7, they are serving you the same dish this year too but thanks to the good dudes at Harley who ensure Megadeth plays not one, not two, but THREE dates in October.

Plus tons of other fresh and stale, new and ancient, young and old bands in the NH7 dates. Shillong looks the most beautiful this year, though.

Even Poets of the Fall had a gig last month. Missed it? If you live in any of these places, do not miss your favorite acts lest you should not feel “repentless.”

So eat less, stuff more in your piggy bank and make sure you give the organisers a lot of attendance(and money) and hope for even more (better?)bands in the year that follows.

We caught up with the pilots of The Local Train, a Hindi Rock band, who have scored the coveted first position of Sennheiser Top 50 contest and chit-chatted for some insights. The guys had started working on their 4th video release “Yeh Zindagi Hai“, around the time the contest was announced. Luckily for them, they defeated tens of other bands and bagged many a priase and prize. Adjudged winners by not only Sennheiser but also Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Salim Sulaiman, the guys have to say, “Winning is one of the best things that’s happened to us. The love, gear and appreciation (in that order of importance) that Sennheiser has showered on us just can’t be measured. (Even the gear!)”

After the win, TLT have already ticked off Leg 1 of their tour which and are soon embarking on another pan-India tour in support of their upcoming release not long from now.

The band has played many IIT fests and several other shows throughout India, but seem to loathe playing pub gigs. ” We don’t play club gigs at all. This was the first time we tried to see what our market response will be in clubs. Worker Bee Productions organised the entire 8 city first leg for us. Band On The Run was their initiative and Kunal Malhotra, the proprietor really delivered on his promise. Clubs and pubs are a really unforgiving market because if your music doesn’t cut it either people don’t show up or worse, they leave! So a successful pub tour is every band’s litmus test.”

Their net release is titled “Aalas ka Pedh.” “”Alas Ka Pedh” is the Albatross around our neck. The album is named so because it took us 4 years of production to be able to finally complete and launch it to the public. There’s so much that goes behind making a product that we four were gonna be satisfied with and we did not want to let out an inferior product. Getting the right sound is tricky and only after meeting Chris Hesse (Drummer for The Hoobastank, who’s also a very talented and accomplished Mix Engineer) were we able to get our sound right. We’ve been talking about taking this album in 2012 and by 2015 our “Aalas Ka Pedh” finally bore some fruit.”
