I’ll try and bring as much of the new music to your attention as i possibly can. Then again, i do let them pass through my personal filter and probably for the very same reason, some very obvious ones might have been intentionally left out. Hope you can understand. 😉

1. Origin

Origin’s brand new album Omnipresent has been officially unveiled for your ears! The entire album has been up for streaming on Soundcloud. But its also been pretty dumb of the record label (Agonia Records) to not have inserted time calibrations of song ends and starts. So you’d have to trust your own sense of alertness for the same. Here’s the tracklist so that you have some idea of the track you are listening to.

1. All Things Dead
2. THRALL:FULCRUM:APEX
3. Permanence
4. Manifest Desolate
5. Absurdity of What I Am
6. Source of Icon O
7. Continuum
8. Unattainable Zero
9. Redistribution of Filth
10. Obsolescence
11. Malthusian Collapse
12. The Indiscriminate
13. Kill Yourself (S.O.D. cover song)

2. Mutilation Rites

One dimensional and dirty, something you’d always wish off some bands. Sometimes staying true to themselves is all you want from them. You’ d not want them to go out of their way for the sake of experimentation and end up sounding all the more contrived for it.  Mutilation rites sound here like blackened thrash than anything else with slightly melodic elements peppered throughout. Gravitational Collapse comes off their brand new album Harbinger, soon to be released via Prosthetic Records.

3. Inanimate Existence

This tech death band’s been making quite the news around blog circles. Rightly so, if you’d ask me. Their brand of tech death is akin to the Canadian band Beyond Creation or Psycroptic and several of its new cohorts in Rivers of Nihil and Archspire. Its even got that occasional Mithras like leads (abused by Fallujah) in few of their tracks. They have just released a brand new video for one of their tracks called The Rune of Destruction. Although you’d be quick to stamp a lackluster quality on the video, you cannot possibly say the same about the song. Surreal leads, leg hacking riffs, female cleans and an overall vibe that befits a more classical music output, abounds.

A Never Ending Cycle of Atonement is to be released through Unique Leader Records this year.

The following two tabs change content below.
These dreams of dread, I sprout, All souls so weak, they rout. These gnarled roots of mine, they bind, All souls of so feeble, a mind.
