Meshuggah to release new album towards the end of 2015
Swedish Metal giants Meshuggah have started writing new material for the upcoming album . In an recent interview Tomas Haake did with Metalbase India he confirmed that the band are trying to release the album by late 2015 or early 2016. Tomas said ‘We are writing right now , as usual its a slow process and its gonna take some time. We are probably looking at the earliest late 2015 or early 2016. So its going to take a while and that’s not only a matter of our writing and recording process being lengthy , but nowadays we have to really listen to what our label has to say and we want our album to be a priority release.‘
Meshuggah new full length album would be the bands eighth full length album. This album would follow the highly acclaimed 2012 release Koloss. The band had been extensively touring to promote their new album , but now are taking some time off from the live space and are busy writing their next album.
Tomas also told us that the new songs are complex and rhythmically tough. The fans have to be patient , but trust me the wait will be worth it.
