Wintergate, a Death Metal band from Jaipur, Rajasthan have finally released the physical copies of their EP ‘DisIllumination‘. The EP was launched and released worldwide on the Transcending Obscurity Label, owned by Kunal Choksi. The EP was launched at Steel Series: Triumph of Steel. Devashish Dutt(Guitarist/Vocalist) is ecstatic when he tells us that the whole event was very successful and did justice to the momentous occasion.”Yes it was perfect launch for Disillumination, we were supported by kickass bands Orion (mumbai), spear of destiny (delhi), silver dessert (Jaipur). It was a killer show. Now we will be promoting “Disillumination” in other cities in coming months.”
The band feels that the EP sales would be good and thank the fans for their undying support. “We have positive expectations, and with help from above, support and love from our listeners, fans & friends it is going well and strong already. I hope it will go better from here and onwards. We would like to thank our fans & friends for keeping patience and support for this long, it is with your support that all of this could come to reality for us.”
Devashish, along with the band also gave credits to Kunal Choksi and Transcending Obscurity for the progression of the band. “Yes totally, we are thankful to Kunal and Transcending Obscurity, for keeping his belief in us, for shows and the release.”
Also, Wintergate fans are in for a treat as Devashish tells us that the band is currently recording their new album, “Pathway Through Redemption” which is planned to be released in early 2015. Also, fans should look out for new merchandise from the band in the coming months.
