    Carcass have been confirmed to play at BIG69. The organizers had previously announced the addition of an stage at the festivaland another headliner for the festival and now it is confirmed it is indeed extreme metallers from UK.

    Carcass released their full length album Surgical Steel back in 2012. Carcass joins the star studded line up of the BIG69 whichalready boasts the likes of SikTh , Fleshgod Apocalypse , Hacktivist , Underside along with fourteen Indian bands

    Season tickets are priced at Rs.2000 and student tickets are priced at Rs.1,500 for both the days of the festival. The tickets are likely to go on sale from November 7th, 2014.

    1. Halahkuh to play their new material– The band released their monstrous track ‘Break the shackles’ back in August and Pune shall witness the unrelenting brutality of the bands music.

    2. Noiseware’s new material makes a pune debut – The band has been writing their full length album and you all should get to hear the new Noiseware material at Parallax. So if you are wondering how the new Noiseware materials sounds , you know where to be on 21st December

    3. Devoid to give a glimpse of the material from their upcoming album– Devoid released their full length album ‘The Invasion’ back in 2013 , and the cogwheels are in motion for the next one. At Parallax you get to hear how the new Devoid album would sound.

    4. Abraxas comeback – Yes you read it right, the boys are back! After a long wait, Abraxas are back with two new members and a new single – ‘Deviation’, releasing on 12.12.14. Parallax will be their homecoming gig.

    5. A gig organized by the artists – This is a first for Pune , and all the bands are collectively organizing this massive show for all you out there.

    Started three years back in Hyderabad Septic Progression reaches Bangalore for the first time. CounterCulture will play host to  Eccentric Pendulum, Skrypt, Escher’s Knot, Orchid. Septic Progression came into being when Eccentric Pendulum, Theorized and Skrypt came together to do some shows the DIY way. There was really not that much of support in their home cities and decided to start a small tour of sorts, catering to fans of these three bands.

    This edition of Septic Progression will see Escher’s Knot, take Theorized’s spot. Arjun from Eccentric Pendulum shared his experiences of the previous editions “These shows turned out to be some of the best shows we have played“. The minds behind Septic Progression are trying to take the property to more cities, “We are definitely looking at taking this whole property to different cities and are currently in talks with a few people. We have no fixed deadline for these shows so we are just researching and getting in touch with as many people/bands as possible who can help us in their own small way in taking Septic Progression to their cities!” said Arjun

    At Septic Progression you would witness Thrash assault of Skrypt , Progressive/Experimental brand of metal coming from Orchid,Escher’s Knot’s brutal set and new material from Eccentric Pendulum.   • Sikth To Play at BIG69, Mumbai in 2015.

    BIG69 festival just announced that the UK progressive/experimental metal band SikTh will be coming down to Mumbai to headline BIG69 2015!

    The six-piece band from Watford, England formed in March 2001 and released their debut EP Let the Transmitting Begin in 2002. This was followed by two unforgettable albums The Trees Are Dead and Dried Out…Waiting for Something Wild (2003) and Death of a Dead Day(2006). SikTh was one of the main influences of the djent movement along with Swedish giants Meshuggah, creating a unique blend of genres like experimental, mathcore and hardcore. The complex nature of their musicianship and the dissonance embodied in their music made them an exceptional band. SikTh announced their split in May 2008 after a hiatus of a few months.

    On 16 December 2013, it was revealed in a surprise announcement that SikTh were to be playing a reunion set at Download Festival 2014. Following this they played have played a number of sellout gigs, tours and festivals such as UK Techfest, Euroblast (Germany), Silence Festival (Nepal) and many more.

    When asked about playing their long overdue first show in India, singer Mikee Goodman said, “It has always been a dream to travel the world and play shows for all of us. It is an honour to be able to right now. I heard some bands were recently coming to India to play. At last this chance has come for us and we are very excited to see and play in India!”

    The festival will also see UK’s Hacktivist, Italian technical death metal band Fleshgod Apocalypse, and 14 other India’s top notch bands are playing at  Mumbai, India on 17th and 18th of January, 2015 at BIG69 Festival!

  • Bangalore based Artist Management & Booking Agency MetamorphiK Productions have re-signed Swedish Melodic Death Metal band, Degradead!

    Degradead was the first band I ever signed under MetamorphiK Productions and just when the contract was about to expire, we decided to extend this partnership! This decision came after I saw the band’s extraordinary performance at Wacken Open Air (Their second at the said fest). Degradead toured India back in Feb 2011 and we’re looking forward to making another one happen in 2015.
