Cast away your tried and tested alt rock flavorings, and find a new home in the atmospheric, prog-laden abyss that is Goddess Gagged, initially a three piece showcase of Bombay’s youngest rock talent and now a full fledged five-piece behemoth. Breathing in influences from all cross sections of nineties rock/metal following up to present day prog kings like Karnivool and Porcupine Tree, these five fantasists find cohesion within layers of intricate guitar work, crushing rhythms, solid bass lines and moody atmospherics worthy of the darkest nights of solitude.

Goddess Gagged is :
Siddharth Basrur – Vocals
Devesh Dayal – Guitar/Vocals
Arman Menzies – Guitar/Vocals
Krishna Jhaveri – Bass
Jeremy D’souza – Drums

Lyrics:
I took a step back, I couldn’t breathe
It made me see exactly what I wanted
Getting back to basics, making me sick
Making me bleed with confusion
Turning you on

This incessant breathing must be stopped
It’s the only cure I can find that cuts

The silence, thick as the walls you built
Chain me down, I won’t try to escape
Who said you could stay?
Who said you could stay?

The silence, thick as the walls you built
Chain me down
I won’t try to escape
Watch me play and weigh me down

If breathing was an option would you take it away?
Would you set fire to my lungs again?

There’s a cure
There’s a cause
There’s a flaw
You keep stepping beyond this line you’ve crossed

This track that plays on loop in my head
Creates an unkind echo
Stimulates, simulates, stimulates

Your bad behavior will not go unnoticed
My eyes ache
They still see
